Serata Hall opens in the City

Serata Hall opens in the City…

Serata Hall, the fourth new opening for Albion & East – who operate Brixton’s Canova Hall and Cattivo, and Martello Hall in Hackney – continue to grow their collection of sites offering a co-working space, cocktails and Italian food to East Londoners and city creatives.

Serata Hall ticks all the bases from sunrise to sunset. From an amazing array of baked goods, a gin masterclass at the in-house distillery or a hot-desk space to help get some work done, Serata Hall covers it all, under one Edwardian detailed, Art Deco-inspired roof.

By day, Tiny Tower Bakery offers a selection of artizan treats from pistachio croissants and Italian bombolinis (served with local jam or Nutella); by night the coal oven fires up pizzas using Serata Hall’s own acclaimed 48-hour fermented sourdough. The pasta provides a stand-out selection from truffle tagliatelle with mushrooms and walnuts, beef rigatoni (prepared with 12-hour slow-cooked beef), to a veggie-friendly gnocchi brightened with beetroot.

An in-house gin distillery promises many good things. From bespoke gin with distinctive flavours you can also hone your skills with gin blending masterclasses. Wine comes on tap, with a selection of 12, giving you the biggest selection outside of the United States.

Serata Hall is at 207 Old St, London EC1V 9EY / call & reservations: 020 3146 2124 / Twitter @seratahall
