Urban spaces re-imagined
Wellfound is built around a sense of community. We're here for people who care about the world and who want to spend their money with businesses that have a conscience.
People who, like us, believe doing good is the only way to run a good business. We work with social enterprises, ethical suppliers and collaborate with like minded operators so that you can spend your time with us knowing that every part of the journey has been considered.
Marsha is our lovely Southbank home for its buzzy atmosphere and great river views. We even named it after the former marshland it’s built on, now part of Gabriel’s Wharf. But we also relished the chance to take a beautiful old building and to re-use, re-love, and re-imagine it – breathing in new life. Across all our venues we lovingly salvage what we can, sourcing old light fittings and sustainably sourced materials, to give overlooked pieces a chance to shine. This time, we’ve had the chance to do it with an overlooked space, too. A place we’re proud to call our home. Marsha serves chicken packed with flavour, sourced to the highest welfare standards – and leaving absolutely nothing to waste. But as much as we love chicken, we’re just as creative when it comes to catering for vegans and vegetarians. For us, balance is always an important part of our offer – and that means eating ethically, whatever your tastes.
Our menu is a respectful and imaginative take on this mighty bird. These are glorious chicken recipes, served on the South Bank with a whole lot of love. With a second site set to open in February 2022 at Kingly Court, we’re excited to be in an extremely popular and vibrant destination in central London, sandwiched between Carnaby Street and Regent Street. The 132-cover, two-storey restaurant was originally launched in 2013 and will soon become part of the Marsha business, sharing the same passion for eating ethically.
The Green Room bar and restaurant is situated between the South Bank & Waterloo, breathing life into the neighbourhood by re-using, re-loving and re-imagining a wonderful space. A lofty single-storey pavilion surrounded by a beautiful garden just behind the National Theatre. Designed by Benjamin Barfield Marks, this timber framed contemporary space won the top award in the temporary category of the New London Architecture Awards in 2015. A large open-air neighbourhood garden is surrounded by aromatic homegrown herbs and the menu is guided by sustainability, making as much as possible in-house.
